Terrain Terrtex Stamps ?

Hi Folks,
I’d like to make a set of stamps to use in TSRE so I can use the function to paint under an abject - for some nice straight edges (parking lots and crop fields).... While I’ve made plenty of locomotives, vegetation, and rolling stock - - - I haven’t done structures...
What tells TSRE a shape is a building and I want to paint the Terrtex below it - to make the object selectable in this respect ?
Would I have any problem with large football fields or greater sized stamps ?
