Editing Random Sets

Random sets created from ENG List > Add Rand button. Once list is created and named ("Save current list as" field), then clicking the Save button on the Random Consist Dialog saves the list as a CON file in ....\Trains\Consists\randomsets folder.
How can one edit these CON files with TSRE-CE to add, delete or replace items?
Note I said "with TSRE-CE" I know how with a text editor.
