Re: Strange spikes in my OR Route project
Ok I have got that. Just had a quick look in Google Earth and it looks really interesting, I entered "Vall de NĂºria" in the search and can see that some of the buildings there have been modelled already. I always find that I look at these then make my own version. Can you tell me the locat...

Re: Strange spikes in my OR Route project
Hi Vapor3d I have had similar spikes in my Swiss route. I have successfully eliminated them. If you give me the information I asked for in my previous post, I will make myself a route at this location. Then I will find out where the spikes in the .hgt data are located. Then I will tell you again how...

Re: Strange spikes in my OR Route project
Can you tell me the following: 1. The latitude and longitude of the location of your images 2. The direction you are looking. 3. The viewing distance you are using in Open Rails (you will find this in "Options/Video") 4. Is Distant Mountains ticked? and if so what is the distance setting. ...

Re: Strange spikes in my OR Route project
Open your route in TSRE and navigate to the position you took the spiky image from. Make sure that you are looking towards the spikes. Now just move forward in TSRE, you may have to go some distance, until you come either to a spike, or to the last of the tiles. If you have not found the spikes, ret...

Re: Gap in Terrain
The black appearance of the squares makes me think that there is a problem with the Terrtex file for these areas.
Try copy and paste from a square that displays correctly. If this sorts out the black then you know to look at your Terrtex files.

Re: Can We copy Multiple objects ??!
Select one object, then hold the control key and select the rest. Ctrl C to copy Ctrl V to paste H to set every object to ground level. You can translate and rotate multiple objects as well. Just beware of rotating near to or across a tile boundary, some of your selection may "disappear" o...

Re: Make signal heads be seen
Hi Eugen
Are you the author of the CHFahrleitung and Schweitzersignale?
If so, thank you for these.
I use the gantries, but there are so many signals, and my German is not good enough for me to use the signals.

Re: Make signal heads be seen
Hi Archimage The problem seems to be something in the shape file for the signals. Have you tried looking at the OpenRailsLog.txt file, this may point you in the direction. I am using some overhead wires that OR reports as a problem. Information: Skipped unknown shader name Diffuse first seen in shap...

Re: Make signal heads be seen
Hi Archimage
I was just trying to help you locate the source of the problem with my previous response.
Do the signals you are using show the same problems when you look at other russian routes using TSRE?

Re: Make signal heads be seen
Are you sure that this is a TSRE problem, and not one to do with the signal shapes you are using. Do you see the same problem with the standard MSTS routes. I suggest that you try to check this by: 1) placing other signals in your route, for example from a USA or Japan MSTS route. 2) placing your si...
