The first post in this thread is pretty self explanatory.
What part of it are you having problems with?

Evidently the tile doesn't exist. Maybe MapBox doesn't have it.

I ran into this while working on some tiles in Northeast Kansas.
Took a closer look at the hgt file and saw this.
Looks like it ran off of the film sprocket.
Easy enough to fix.

On the first thing, endless moving.
You have to left click somewhere on the main screen, without holding any of the keys down.
On the second, changing the background colors.
You have to "uncomment" the line in the settings you want to change. Remove the leading #.

If you haven't figured this out yet.
Maybe the speed post was placed and the shape lowered below the terrain.

You will have to build the gradient into your trackwork then adjust your terrain to the track.
