If you deleted the TDB you'll have to start over unless you have a backup somewhere.
Maybe you can rescue it from the recycle bin.

Can you open the route in OR? You may have to create a short path using Trackviewer. If so does the logfile tell you anything? When you installed TSRE did it have internet access so it could download all of the install files? Try a fresh install of TSRE. It may be missing the default terrain texture...

Where do you have your content installed? If it's in a Windows folder, like programs or programs(86), windows may prevent TSRE from writing terrain textures to the route folder. TSRE will show missing textures as black. OR shows them as white. It's highly recommended to install MSTS content to the r...

The R key is for rotation.
One end of the track won't change height, it stays where you put it.
Elevation is shown on the left as permille or percent.

With only 2GB of RAM you're not going to have a good experience trying to use TSRE on this laptop, if it works at all.
Keep that in mind.
